We had the special opportunity to bring a GNLC Merlin son to our farm in 2022.  Carol Reigh offered us the change to add this impressive boy to our herd and he has already gotten to work on several of our girls with crias due in 2023.  Merlin is a well known name in the industry and Full Turn has two full brothers that have also made a name for themselves, Scorcher and Fortunate Son.  We are very excited to see what FT can do in our program.

We were excited to welcome HB to our farm in 2020 to join our show string and now as a herdsire!  He has a powerful pedigree filled with champions and llamas that are known nationwide for their offspring and dynamic presence.  He has numerous qualities that we are hoping will compliment our females and build our next generations of show stock.  HB is now a finished halter champion and Best of Show winner.  His first crias have arrived in 2022 and we are using him again for 2023!

Quentin is another bookend to the future of our program.  We couldn't have been happier to add this striking male to our show string and now to our stud group.  Q's sire needs no introduction in the world of llama showing and breeding and his dam is a strong, large, and correct full Peruvian female.  HB and Q will give our program the next step in our goal of breeding the best llamas possible.  We began using Q in the Spring of 2022 and his first cria is due in 2023!

Phlox was born on our farm in 2015 out of our Samponero (full Peruvian) son and a great foundation MGF female.  Unfortunately when he was 2 years old we had too many males and sold him as a companion to a local farm to live with sheep.  May of 2020 I was checking in on him and was impressed how he had matured.  We had the opportunity to buy him back to use on some of our females.   He had his first 4 crias in 2022 and we were so happy with them he has more crias due in 2023!

Chequers is a brilliantly colorful male and the only keeper son out of HS Ariat.  He has great extension, fleece, spacing and a personality that can't be beat.  We will begin using him in Spring 22' and he will split his time between Wisconsin and Iowa going forward.

Purchased from Ken West in 2009, Reaction is still adding stretch, size, and fiber to our foundation females.  He has excellent conformation and produces large strong crias. His "hybrid" crias are hitting the show ring and getting noticed. He is not for sale and we plan to continue to use him as long as he is able.  He is in great shape for 14 years old and is currently being used on select females.

Nuevo is one our last two Catamarca offspring.  He and his brother Exemplar are both conformationally correct and have a lot of the great characteristics we look for when we breed.  He is one of our successful Beyonca x Catamarca crosses.  That cross has been successful when bred to Reaction and we are looking to continue that cross with Reaction.

Ariat came to our farm in the Fall of 2015 in the group we acquired from High Sierra Llamas in California.  He is incredibly correct and well balanced.  He also has a great personality which made us want to retain him for a replacement for his father who passed in 2019.  Ariat unfortunately passed due a spinal tumor in 2020.  We are fortunate to have retained 2 daughters and a son to continue his legacy.

Monaco came to our farm in the Spring of 2015 as a replacement for our Catamarca who is getting up in years.  Monaco shares some common genetic lineage and phenotypes which we have found works great for our breeding choices.

Sovreign came to our farm in the Fall of 2015 to add a completely new aspect and pedigree to our bloodlines.  We were fortunate to be able to get this boy in time to use him on a couple girls this Fall and then as a primary herdsire in 2016.  He also has the most sweet and gentle personality.  Sovreign passed in 2019 due to natural age related causes.  We are fortunate to have a daughter and 3 grand-offspring to continue his legacy.

Daydream originally came to Limestone Llama Farm in June of 2010 from Pinewood Farms! A true testament to how certain bloodlines are ageless.

Our grandsire who was purchased from Co-Rect Ranch in 2002 and was the primary herdsire for Rector Llamas for 10+ years. In April of 2016 we put Catamarca to rest and buried him with honor next to our farms dogs.  Catamarca has had a profound and lasting impact on our breeding program and he will be greatly missed.

In August of 2015 we unfortunately had to put Pitaq down.  He suffered from some arthritis when he first came to our farm, and unfortunately it continued progress over the next couple years.  We were fortunate to use him on our females and he has left us with some very consistent, quality crias to continue his legacy.  He will be deeply missed.
