The FALL 2023 Hiking Season is open!
We are excited to welcome you to our farm outside of Denver, IA, which has been in the family 150 years. We are the longest continuously-operated llama farm in the US- we span 3 generations and have been in business since 1968! There are currently 5 adult grandchildren still involved with llamas, and we each have 20-30 years of experience raising, handling, and showing llamas. We’ve been hiking with our llamas for 15+ years as part of our training program and we are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to the public. At this time, we can accommodate up to 5 llama walkers (age 9 and up) per hike.
What To Expect
Participation Requirements
Private Hikes: $60 for a group of 2-3 people; $20/person for groups of 4 and up (kids 8 & under are free)
